Lana's Spring Showcase

This year for Lana's spring showcase, which is a play co-written by the teachers and students, Lana got to play the part of a red bird with her friend Mercede and the part of snow white was played by her other friend from class, Madison.  At first she was a little apprehensive but after just one practice she LOVED it.  I wish we had gotten a good picture of her with her full on costume and make up, but they didn't let us take pictures before the program and she had to take off the feathers and mask once we met her outside.  She and her whole "Pod" did a great job with the program!

A bit of this and that

I am home with 2 sick little ones today from church.  Tanner has been asleep since 11 and I figured it would be a good time to finally catch up on the blog. 

We have two big pieces of news.  The first is we are expecting again!  I am 16 weeks.  This is the stage in pregnancy where we lost our sweet Cope, so I am a bit anxious this week.  I've been blessed this pregnancy with being able to feel the baby move so early.  I think my anxiety and stress would be much higher without it.  We should be finding out the baby's gender within the next 2 weeks or so.  My due date is October 4th.

Our other news is we are moving to Houston, TX!  Paul accepted a job with a new home building company out there.  Paul starts there the second week in May while I will stay here until school is out or until we sell our home.  There are still a lot of variables up in the air, but at this point we will just play things by ear.  Until then pray for me and my having to be a single mom while pregnant in the Mississippi heat.  Or send my kids happies because they will probably need it  ;).
