OK so today in church the bishopric announced that we needed to prepare ourselves and invite our friends to a special Easter program next week....One problem....I (Paul) am Speaking!! This wouldn't be so bad, but I already know that my past talks have been dry, not too exciting, talks. Now don't get me wrong, I do try to use all of those public speaking skills I learned from my classes at Ricks. I don't know, its just a little nerve racking.
So anyways, this evening Lana came to both Michelle and I and told us about the sand in the back of my pickup truck, and about how she wanted to play with it. Its funny because we only talked about it once, when I bought it about a week ago, and she isn't tall enough to look in the truck. I hadn't unloaded it because we had the bug guy come and spray the house, and we couldn't play outside anyway. Just thought that was curious.
This evening Lana was running around in circles holding a pretend microphone singing. It was very cute. She then handed me a pretend microphone and we proceeded to sing songs like the ABC song and Old McDonald. Michelle tried to sing too, but she got shushed by Lana because she wasn't holding a pretend microphone. Lana gave her one and we all sang together as Lana danced.
Michelle also showed me how I can look people up on myspace. Very interesting. I looked up my high school, by graduating class and found 77 people with posts. I looked them up, didn't recognize most of them (My old neighbor is on there though) and I found that my high school bred all sorts of gay, Wicca, atheist types. Not like I'm one to judge, but it is a Much different environment than here. One guy even said that he worked for a type of insurance that protected people when the were injured while in a zombie state. What can I say about that.
