When we moved in the lawn was almost completely dead and no bushes or trees had been trimmed in years.
Many of the trees lost a lot of branches during superstorm Sandy but were never groomed so they all had a lopsided look to them.
The backyard shed which was mostly covered by weeds and bushes. When we had people over after we had the yard cleaned up they were surprised and asked if we had just put that in.

Basement stairs. Paul took all the shelving down that the lady had installed. Before he took it out you literally had to walk down the stairs sideways.
Stairs leading out to the bilco doors in the back yard. (Bilco doors are like tornado shelter doors).
The basement bathroom. When we first walked the house there was so much stuff in the basement I didn't even know there was a roughed in bathroom.
We have since torn everything out including the existing tile and finished it beautifully!
I don't know what they were thinking putting in this motor home looking shower, but it's gone now!
