After not even being able to remember the last "free" Saturday that we've had together, we decided to head to the zoo. It was a beautiful overcast day making it very bearable even though it was muggy.
The baby giraffe was born recently and they had a story about him/her on the news. Usually no matter what kind of animal it is, baby versions are always so cute!
Case in point, here is my cute baby enjoying a snooze at the zoo.
We made it 3/4 of the way through the zoo and then Lana biffed it on the sidewalk. Both knees bleeding, loud screaming and big tears were all present. She did pause long enough in the hysterics to ride the train before we left.
