3 weeks after we moved to Mississippi, Katrina hit. 3 weeks after we moved to the 'burg, Gustav hit. I think next time we move it will be during the off-hurricane season.
We fared the storm (so far) quite well. No power outages (keeping our fingers crossed), just a bunch of bored kids (one of whom is teething, which is like icing on the going crazy cake).

I'm glad you've weathered the storm and still have power. Yay! Maybe we can talk on Skype to help relieve the boredom. :)
