Just wanted to wish ya'll a happy Confederate Memorial Day which we are celebrating today here in Mississippi. What? You think I'm joking??? Click here. FYI - Paul did have to work today, which is how we found out it was CMD anyway. He went to go pull a building permit and found the office closed for the "holiday". Unfortunately on such short notice I won't be able to do true southern cuisine for dinner. We'll just have to pretend it's southern-style lasagna.

This is so weird! I've lived in MS my whole life and never heard of this! Granted, I am from NORTH Mississippi so maybe I'm just not Southern enough to know!
